The Research Unit in Mediation and Dissemination of scientific culture has for central mission to convey the culture of science and its values among the public at large as well as the students at both at universities and schools.
The main tasks of the Research Unit in Scientific Mediation and Culture which is part of the Research Center for Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST) are to spread scientific culture among the public, as well as to discuss contemporary issues related to science and culture. This high civilized process includes both university and school circles.
The importance of establishing this research unit appears from the observation that the citizen in our country in general lacks a correct appreciation of the educational, cultural and even entertaining value of scientific knowledge, which immunizes society and contributes to civilized advancement.
